1. Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

Star Maid Service provides professional-grade green friendly products that are safe & effective.

2. Do you have insurance & bonding?

Yes, StarMaidService is insured & bonded, and our maids have all had their backgrounds checked thoroughly. We also carry workers compensation, unlike independent cleaners and contractors.

3. What if I need to skip a cleaning day, or cancel it?

If you ever need to cancel or skip a cleaning day, it’s not a problem. Contact us at office hours and provide us with two business day notice. This will give us time to reassign your maid to another day. Note that we do have a $50 SAME DAY CANCELLATION FEE.

4. Do I have to be home for the cleaning session?

You do not have to be home for the cleaning session, just as long as your cleaner has proper directions for entering and exiting your home. Please input these instructions when booking your appointment.

5. Can I tip my maid? Or give an additional gift as thank you?

It’s never a requirement, but our cleaners will certainly appreciate it!

6. What if I’m not happy with the cleaning service provided by the maid?

Star Maid Service has a happiness guarantee policy. If you’re ever unhappy for any reason during a cleaning session, let us know, and we will re-clean it free of charge.

7. Forms of Payment

Star Maid Service accepts the following forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, Cash, and Personal Checks. Payment is due at the time of service, and we require a credit card on file prior to your cleaning.
